This article is for all those who don't know why it is important that we stop the gay agenda and it also goes to show how far academia will go to defend pure evil. This is nothing short of pure evil folks! I was really shocked to read this because I really didn't think that evil could sink this low. What was I thinking? Evil begets evil! This may sound loony but I truly believe that anyone whe can be sexually attracted to their own gender and can then act on that is truly capable of anything. To lighten the mood, I was watching fear factor one night and they had a gay guy on the show. No shock there right. Well when they got to the part where they had to eat something disgusting this guy was chomping away just tearing it up like it was nothing. I started laughing so hard I almost bust a gut because what I was thinking was, " Come on this guy likes to put you know what's in his mouth and in his butt. Of course he can eat this crap." Anyway like I was saying, I truly believe that being gay is about the lowest a person can sink and if a person is capable of that they are truly capable of any evil under the sun. Anyone who doesn't believe this just read this article.

Despicable acts of despicable liberals!

I've got a couple articles here tonite that truly shows how despicable alot of people on the left can be. This just goes to show their true colors. The peace activists claim to be all about peace. If this is true then why do they always seem to be of the violent sort. This story shows how cruel supposed peace activists can be in hijacking what was meant to be a memorial for the 1000 dead American Patriots in Iraq and taunting and yelling at a mother of one of the slain until she ended up leaving in tears. These people don't care about human beings. They only care about their warped sense of virtue and pushing their liberal agendas down the throats of the rest of America.

This story is about people on the left supposedly ready to leave this great country because they don't like the direction our country is going in and because they don't agree with our policies. But this one retired couple, ready to go live in Canada where there are more liberals like themselves, say they will keep their US citizenship so that they can still get their medicare and social security benefits. How noble of them! These people need to be kicked out on their hind ends, citizenship revoked and no benefits whatsoever. I'm so sick of these leaches on society. They can renounce their country and all it stands for and I'm supposed to pay for their doctor bills and social security check?!! I thought Canada had such great free medicine?! Why not become a Canadian citizen and suck of their government teet. Our's is plum dry!

Democratic "smoke" screen

Here is another example of democrats hard at work trying to control people's lives and all in the name of public safety. Did we really need a study to show that bars are smoky? This is absolutely rididculous! Granted I am not a smoker myself, as I find it a pretty gross and self destroying habit, I still believe in personal responsibility and individual rights. These people are supposedly trying to protect what they called "hospitality workers" or what the rest of us would call bartenders. Everyone knows that bars are smoky and if you work there you will probably have to breathe smoke. So instead of personal responsibility, let's pass some laws so that we can run everyone's lives. If this is not communistic I don't know what is. Don't get me wrong I don't have a problem with indoor smoking bans in other public places like grocery stores and malls and such but bars? As Erskine Bowles likes to say, "Come On"(in his supposed everyman's southern drawl). As far as restaurants I believe they should just have smoking sections like they always had when I was growing up. This is ridiculous folks and it is another example of the liberal agenda hard at work to run everyone's lives. I've said it before and I'll say it again folks, personal responsibility and individual rights is "truly liberating".

Very good explanation of Right and Left ideology!

This is a very great explanation for the differences between the left and the right and where their beliefs originate from. It leaves me with one striking observation. The left is comparable to the legalism of the pharisees of which Jesus railed against and was eventually murdered by. It all makes perfect sense to me now. The left with all of their supposed moral high ground with respect to equality, civil rights and all is really nothing more than legalism pure and simple. They could care less for what is really and truly moral in the eyes of God. To them they and their fellow law makers are God. Well Jesus warned us against these type of people when he said there is only one law for which you should obey and that is LOVE! All the other things will fall in place once you have love. Well the left tries to replace love with the law. Anyway, read the article. It says it a lot better than I could. I just wanted to point out how the left seems to be the children of the pharisees.

Check out this great site people. I now am a believer in Kerry as well!
Not!!! This really has my goat. When will John McCain just cut the crap and switch to the democratic party. We all know that is what he is. I used to have respect for him as a Republican who spoke his mind but come on. This is ridiculous. You wouldn't bad mouth your own family to outsiders, so why would a Republican trash George W Bush and this close to an election. Something is rotten in Denmark I say. Come on. Look at this picture and tell me this ain't the face of a democrat. Ha Ha He likes to say that the Republican party has a big tent but I don't believe it is big enough to house traiters. I think it is time John McCain is kicked out of the tent on his behind where he belongs if he won't leave peacefully. Let him go kiss up to his buddy Kerry. I'm tired of this crap! Whatever happened to loyalty. If anyone has a problem with Bush policies they should take it to Bush himself. Otherwise if you take your gripes to the public then I can not but think that there are ulterior motives behind all this. When I read these articles I did a google picture search for McCain not knowing I'd find this gem.

He'll be a presidential candidate again. Fear this man. Fear him mightily. He's hungry for power, and he'll step on anyone and say anything he needs to get it. According to the article, " Mr. Mukasey is chief judge of the U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York"t, so you would think he would be one to know about the Patriot Act. See I truly believe that instead of just listening to the knee jerk reactions of liberals everyone needs to learn how to research and find information for themselves. Instead of just believing what those like Michael Moore say about the Patriot Act wouldnt it make sense to do like Mr. Mukasey says and , "Before attacking the Patriot Act, try reading it." Now I'll admit I have not read the Patriot Act itself as I'm sure it is written in pure legalese and I'm not legally inclined but doesn't it then make sense to learn about it from someone who is legally inclined like Mr. Mukasey intead of a dropout like Michael Moore? This man Michael definitely has an agenda he is trying to sell but I'm not buying it.

Here is another great article I found at a really cool website called Intellectual Conservatism. I bet you didn't think those two words could go together did you? But I assure you that it is not an oxymoron as the liberals would have you believe. This article talks about Stephen Jay Gould who was one of the contemporary successors to Darwin before Gould passed away a couple years ago. The more I read and learn the more I come to believe that everything I was taught by the liberal public schools and University system was wrong. It seems they all have their ulterior motives in what they speak. They profess to believe in the first ammendment but it seems they only trot it out when it suits their purposes. Anyone who disagrees or who has traditional conservative values and beliefs is silenced. My own sister told me that when she was in college a few years ago in the mid 90's she was told by her English teacher I believe that she couldnt write about her faith in God. That kind of belief is just so yesterday I guess. When I was college in 91 at the University of Tennessee no less I took a class ostensibly called The History of Western Civilization I. But I swear to you that the entire semester was spent by a young teaching assistant drilling us on how wrong christianity is. We even had to read a book called The Evil Empire which was an historical fiction novel set in Roman times. In this book the characters were made to say that Jesus didnt actually die on the cross. Now the last time I checked Christianity played a huge part in Western Civilization but you wouldnt have known it from listening to this guy. He led a lot of people to believe that it is more intellectually suave to believe that Christianity was nothing more than a blight on human existence and should be extinguished to the dust bin of history. And I will admit I was tempted for many years to believe this way as well thinking that once a part obtains an education he can no longer subscribe to these outdated ways of thinking. But then years later comes along the internet, a place where the liberals can not suppress truly free thought. Does it come as any suprise to people to learn that the internet and talk radio is largely conservative? The reason for this is that this is what people want. People vote with their eyes, ears and minds. Anyways related to this article I am coming to believe that after years of having Evolution taught to me as incontrovertible fact that there were in fact ulterior motives behind this thought system and that Evolution itself is really more of a religion than a science. Whenever you have to twist the facts to conform to your already previously held beliefs there is no way this can be called objective science. It is like the boxing judge who so badly wants a particular fighter to win that he bends what he seeing to fit his already previously held desires.
I am becoming a strong proponent of self education. You dont have to have a teacher standing in front of you to learn. Only for practical skills like truck driving is this necessary. We all have the ability to learn and teach ourselves any thing we ever want to know. The only thing college has to offer is a piece of papar and I myself am now attending college for Computer Engineering for that piece of paper but for everything else I can learn for myself and for my own edification. I love reading and learning and intend to spend my life in that pursuit. The pursuit of knowledge. For I truly believe that knowledge is power because once you have knowledge no one can tell you how to think and knowledge is the one thing the government or anyone can not take away from you. The blogosphere is certainly showing that you don't have to have a degree in journalism in order to have an opinion and to be able to articulate that opinion gracefully.

Who is John Kerry really?!

Get this free E-book by the American Conservative Union about Kerry and what he really stands for. Not much is what I would say. I think when he speaks his handlers have to prop him up with a stick because the man has no back bone except for when it comes to spreading lies. Anyways I haven't read the book yet but I have it downloaded and I'm sure it will be enlightening. Read it yourself and then give to as many friends and family as you can. Nothing could be more important as Nov 7 draws closer and closer. Everyone must know what this man is really all about. Here is the link

Rather Amusing!

This is so great, I laughed outloud when I saw it. I have so many ideas for things I want to do and things I would like to talk about. I have been doing a lot of reading lately and a lot of listening to the news and talk radio. By the way I found a really great program called Replay Radio and you

can get it here.
It allows you to record and listen to radio broadcasts over the internet. These are regular radio broadcasts broadcast nationally and regionally. It is not internet radio. I use it to record and listen to Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Neal Boortz, Matt Drudge and some other odds and ends. They have everything including programs that broadcast classic radio shows.
But back to what I was saying I have been a lot of reading and listening and the more I learn the more I can't wait to vote in November to ensure George W Bush stays in the white house. We need to send Kerry back to Massachussetts and Edwards back to his two America's. You know I heard Edwards' wife on TV speaking at a rally saying that we need someone in the white house who goes to work every day for us and who is on our side and stands up for us. It left me wondering how in the world they can claim to be one of the proletariat blue collar class when they are millionaires many times over?! It makes me want to strangle them. And to strangle people who buy into this crap. They are not one of us, even if there are two Americas. They are all about class warfare and in case you haven't read the communist manifesto, which I have, this is nothing but communist rhetoric. Anyone in American can do and become anything they want to. All it takes is hard work. Just because some people decide to stay in the blue collar class does not mean they are being exploited by the bougouise class or what we would refer today as business men. What they are really doing without realizing or maybe they do realize it is demeaning the working class by telling us that we are nobodys and stupid for allowing our exploitation. They could care less about the working class. They just use the working class to get votes. The only thing the democrats care about is getting and remaining in power. They believe in the welfare state so that they can have all the control and power over the masses. Think about it. He who holds your hand and clothes, feeds and educates you controls you. That is what they are about. Control. They believe that government is God, that government should control your lives. They believe that people are meant to serve the government instead of the other way around. They dont believe in government of the people, by the people and for the people but intead manipulate and use the people in order to maintain their power over the people. I believe the democratic party are communists in sheep's clothing. Do you think it is a coincidence that almost all communist nations have the word democratic in their name. They are usually called people's democratic republic or some such thing. They are really communists but must water down their true message so that the people will vote for them hence their socialist ideology. Remember the USSR stood for United Soviet SOCIALIST Republic. Socialist are communists and it is only a matter of degree. For a good read on how the democrats have tried to placate and excuse communism all through the cold war read Ann Coulter's book Treason. Excellent book and an eye opener. One last thing, you only have to look at history to see that every single war the democrats have tried to fight since WWII they have bungled up beyond repair. For all the rhetoric this election season about Vietnam never forget that it was fought under two different democratic presidents and it took a republican president to get us out. Democrats have always put our troops in harms way half heartedly and begrudgingly always secon guessing themselves and too afraid to fight a war to win for fear of hurting the feelings of some. That is exactly the reason why we lost Vietnam. Vietnam was a noble cause and just because they allowed us to lose does not mean it was an unjust war. We should always go to war only as a last resort but once we do we have to go in full force. You dont go in with guns and no ammo. It is ludicrous. It has been shown that Vietnam could have easily been won by the US way back in Kennedy's administration if only he would have gone in full force and let the military run the war and not the democrats second guessing the milirary every time they fire a shot. You cant kill people and be nice to them at the same time. They want us dead so we must destroy them. So if any lesson was learned from Vietnam it was never again allow a democrat to be our commander in chief. We didnt learn that lesson and allowed Clinton in office to our utter disapointment in military and other matters. Look at what he did in Somalia. Because of his half hearted attemp he put american troops in harms way without proper support and without enough ability to get the job done and 28 americans died some being dragged through the street. Then he and Jimmy Carter allowed us to be blackmailed by North Korea by agreeing to give them billions of dollars and to build them two multi billion dollar nuclear power plants in exchange for their word that they would not build nuclear weapons. That is blackmail and it was done by a madman. Are the democrats stupid? I guess stupid is as the stupid does. Now it is known that North Korea has been building nuclear weapons ever since. And for this debacle Carter received the Nobel Peace Prize. They learned nothing from Reagon and how he won the cold war. Peace through superior fire power. Peace through strength. Anything less is not true peace but only postponing war. The war will eventually have to be fought. Then he sent some a naval ship into Haiti and when they started getting shot at he pulled them out. Ridiculous. Do not vote for the party of appeasement. We could not appease communism and we can not appease terrorism. you can not reason with someone who calls you the Great Satan and is working for your destruction.

Bush played Xbox instead of drilling in Alabama

It has just been brought to my attention by the DNC and the Kerry campaign that back in '72 George Bush was at a friends house in Alabama playing shoot em games on Xbox when he was supposed to be drilling with his unit. When asked about this Kerry said, " I actually did see these documents (proving Bush's affinity for Xbox),... before I forged them. It is not a republican lie that kerry flip flops. Just listen to what Kerry himself has said. One day he is for the war then he is against it. This is not a minor issue. I dont agree with Bush on every single issue but I truly believe that if we dont win the war on terror none of these other issues will matter. Just like we didnt back down during WWII like Neville Chamberlain suggested that we do we CAN NOT back down now. Now maybe Kerry wouldnt back down but everything the democrats have shown in the past shows that more than likely they will. They believe in containment and the inherrent goodness of all of mankind. Well most intelligent people who know history know that all people are not good. Hitler was surely not good and could not be contained. I truly believe it it precisely because of Clinton's policies during the 90's that have put us in the situation we now find ourselves. So in the end after much internal wrangling within my own heart, mind, soul my gut tells me that this is the most important election of at least my lifetime. And after trying and trying to see it kerry's way it is hard to do that when his way changes on an almost daily basis. He wasnt the anti war candidate until Howard Dean forced him to be in order to win the primaries. I can not listen to a man who only says what certain people want him to say in order to be elected. George Bush says what he believes and if people dont vote for him so be it. At least we all know where he stands and we know he will do what he feels is right regardless of changing polls. Or the changing winds in Kerry's case. So although I did register as a democrat I can not bring myself to vote for their candidate. Just as in the 80's when some were Reagon democrats and voted for Reagon, today I am a Bush democrat and although I dont agree with everything he stands for I will be proud on November 7 to cast my vote for George W Bush.
P.S.
Yes this war on terror is very costly in both lives and money but in my opinion no cost is too high. Just remember every single one of those 1000 American dead in Iraq now volunteered to serve. There is no draft so no one can say as some do that Bush killed these American patriots. Every single one of them chose to be a soldier and soldiers get shot at and when they get shot at sometimes they die. That is the cost of freedom. Look how many died during the Revolutionary and American Civil Wars. But I dont hear anyone suggesting the costs of those wars were too high. NO COST IS TOO HIGH FOR FREEDOM BECAUSE FREEDOM IS NOT FREE. It must be bought and payed for from time to time with blood because unfortunately there are those in the world who dont believe in freedom. These terrorists certainly dont believe in freedom and we can not allow there ideology to win the day. If allowed they will stop at nothing but total world domination. So we must stop at nothing but their total and utter destruction. Dont fool yourself into thinking that this is not their goal with regards to our destruction as well.

My email to the Senator John Edwards of North Carolina

Senator Edwards,
This is the first time that I will have written to one of my state senators but the issue I will reference is a very important one not only to myself and my family but also in my opinion to most North Carolinians. The issue I would like to bring to your attention is the vote on Wednesday July 14, 2004 in the senate on the proposed constitutional ammendment protecting the institution of marriage as that between a man and a woman. I am a Republican and will be voting in November and as you understand this means that you and John Kerry will not be getting my vote, however you are still one of North Carolina's Senators along with senator Dole and I hope you haven't begun to take that responsibility lightly. I know that we as North Carolinians, a constituency which has historically for the most part been conservative and Republican, can count on senator Dole to vote in line with her constituency on this issue. But I hope you understand the seriousness of this issue not only for our state but for all Americans. This is not just a matter of equal rights for gays/lesbians. If that was the case it could easily be resolved by lawyers such as yourself, and such things as wills and powers of attorney would take care of any hospital visiting issues and such that are always being brought up in the media. No, senator this is an issue that if allowed to continue as is will end up with catastrophic results for families and children in particular. It would lead to drastic changes in adoption cases, in what our children are taught in public schools, and a general degrading of the beautiful sacrament of marriage. This is not an issue to be taken lightly. These are historic times in more ways than one and the decisions we make today will have lasting effects not only on ourselves but for posterity as well. I would also like to remind you that no matter what your personal opinions are on this subject, this country was founded on the principle of "of the people, by the people, for the people". By this I mean that you are a public servant and that you are not a senator from Massachussetts. You are the senator from a conservative state, North Carolina. You are a representative of the people, that is what a republic is. I therefore urge you to vote on Wednesday in favor of the constitutional ammendment as the vast majority of Americans and North Carolinians desire. If you decide to buck the public wishes then you are no longer to be considered a faithful representative of the people of this state and if you are unfortunate enough to lose your bid for the vice presidency then I am sure your vote or lack of vote will be remembered if you decide to run again in this state for the senate. Lastly I understand that you along with a lot of the democrats try to play both sides of every issue and this one is no exception, but to say that you are against gay marriage but also against the constitutional ammendment is merely side stepping the issue. This ammendment is the only way to stop these activist judges from re-interpreting the constitution. The U.S. constitution IS a sacred document but it is also a living document and that is why we need this ammendment to protect the centuries long tradition of the family.

Why I am a proud Repbublican!

Here is the party platform of the North Carolina Republicans. But as I said, I'm Back Ya'll!! And I'm ready to blow up the blogosphere with some truth! I'm sick and tired of these liberals all over TV bashing president Bush and our country and the fact that they are allowed to get away with it without much word from the other side. Well add one more conservative blog to the blogoworld! As I've said I've been doing a lot of thinking as of late about among other things how important this election is this year and how important that Bush get re-elected and I thought that I myself really need to do something to help out. So this blog will be one way for me to do that. I will try to post a lot more often, at least once a day, and to make it so that people will want to read it. Hopefully at the very least I can get all Republicans and conservative minded people to get out and vote and maybe I can get some liberals to change their minds. But in the very least I will be able to let my thoughts be known. To be honest I'm 31 years old and I have never voted before but this time around I feel it is too important not to vote. I dont want any Republicans to just take it for granted that Bush will win. That is exactly what Kerry's clan want us to think. We have got to let our voices be heard and send Kerry back to Ass-achussetts and Edwards back to chasing ambulances. And let me let everyone know that I live in North Carolina and I can't wait for us to embarrass him come November. Everyone who doesnt believe in socialism and liberal ideas needs to really get out in November and let these people know that this country still belongs to us. If they love socialism so much they can go live in Europe some where.

The perils of.. peanut butter??!!

This is an excerpt from a comment I left in a Deans World post discussing the supposed dangers of eating peanut butter. Here are my thoughts! Enjoy!

Doesnt everyone realize that you can't get out of this world alive? None of us will. We all have to die of something. That being said, I believe that it is wise and prudent to avoid things such as smoking and over consumption of alchohol but if you listened to every study supposedly saying there is carcinogenic risks in certain things we would all have to live in a bubble. It's called life folks. I for one dont care about all this hoopla about peanut butter. I love it and will continue to eat it and if I happen to die a year earlier than I otherwise would have oh well. Such is life. The value of a good life lived is not the number of years but the quality of those years. I dont worry about all these trifling litte studies some scientist comes out with. It's ridiculous. Plus tomorrow they'll probably come out and say peanut butter is good for you like they used to say. Actually it all depends on what studies and what scientists you listen to. They all have their own preconceived ideas and the studies only serve to reinforce their already held beliefs. Just look at the Atkins hoopla. Depending on the source you listen to the atkins diet is either the best thing in the world or the worst danger of all to mankind. My philosophy? It just doesnt matter. We will all die anyway. There is no getting around this. Science will never make us immortal. Never! And why would we want to be. without death life is meaningless. It is in the dichotomy that anything has meaning. without the hot there is no cold. without the up there is no down. without death there is no life. Thats just how it is. some will die sooner than others. thats just the way it is as well. get over it and get on with your lives and enjoy it while you can.

Another great album!

Great listening! Jessica Simpson asked why tuna fish is called the chicken of the sea? She wanted to know if it was chicken or fish? And everyone thinks she is just so cute for this. And she is a millionaire for this. Paris Hilton and Nicole Ritchie on a preview of their upcoming show asks while looking over a map of the United States, "I thought New Mexico was in Mexico?" And they are oh so cute. To me this is sickening. This should not be lauded as inspiration for our youth. Look at the hip hop culture. No value for education there. It doesn't even matter if you can understand the lyrics to their so called music. It seems that today's youth value celebrity more than anything else. They value making tons of money by contributing the least to society as a whole. Sing some teeny bopper songs and then grow up and try your best to offend sense and sensibility. We've got the super bowl fiasco. We've got Britney who we find out is not so innocent after all. I could go on and on. But an education and trying to better one's mind is deemed geeky and out of touch with the times. And we wonder why the rest of the world is starting to take over our lead in science/technology and related fields? I am truly worried for our future if something drastic does not change. Pop culture is overtaking intelligence and the value of it.
In another story here locally, certain members of the black community are up in arms over a local white radio DJ who said that he didn't like Fantasia on American Idol because she acted too ghetto. Heaven forbid! Let's not offend the overly sensitive. One black minister in Durham is calling for this DJ to be fired for what he said. So they believe in civil rights but not the Bill of Rights? No matter how much they disagree with what he said, I thought there was such a thing as freedom of speech? These same people don't mind critisizing white america every chance they get. I would say this is appalling but it really is just more of the same.Supposedly according to this minister ghetto is just a cleaned up way of using the N word. Ridiculous!! I remember in high school certain black friends would jokingly call me "cracker". But there was no way I would even try to jokingly call them the N word. I'm just trying to show the double standards certain people have. Uh oh I cant say that. Sound too much like "you people" and we know they dont like that term either for whatever reason. And lastly does everyone realize that according to present politically correct terms Charlize Theron would be considered an African American? Just shows how stupid Political correctness really is. That's just my view but hey I'm sticking to it. I'm just a simple southern boy and proud of it and always will be.

Still here

I haven't been writing too much the last couple days. Earlier this evening I was messing around with different templates on my blog and I ended up messin around too much and lost everything. I had to go back and find all my code and go back into the template and recode all the HTML that I had already done. Some of it took some playing with to get it to work but I finally got the blog looking the way I want it. If anyone has any suggestions be sure to let me know. I like blogger quite well so far. It does have what I call brown outs sometimes where I cant access the service but it usually only lasts a few minutes. Plus you can do pretty much everything you'd want to do with HTML and CSS manually. All the other programs I've seen that say they make it easier actually make it harder with all the menus. I played around with a couple of them and couldnt get them to do what I wanted. A little manual coding goes a long way and it is good for the brain! Ha Ha You'll also notice some changes and additions. Let me know what you think. I wanted to add some content but not make it too cluttered and too slow to load for those still on dialup. Hint! There's this thing called broadband?! You should try it out. It almost doesnt matter what the message is as long as it is presented in an intelligent way people will buy it. Hitler did the same thing. Which brings me to my point that people need to be careful about who they listen to and who they believe and trust irregardless of how good of a speaker one may be. This is true in the world of blogs as well. One person may be a great mesmerizing speaker but that doesn't prove that their points are valid. Equallyk, someone else could be a horrible writer or speaker but could still be speaking the truth. The same can be said in the political arena. Look at Bush. He is always criticized for being a horrible speaker but does this mean we shouldnt listen to him? I for one would rather listen to a horrible speaker speak the truth than listen to a B.S. artist speak lies in a fantastic manner. Just thought I'd bring this up. Good speaking ability does not the truth make. So while Bush may not be the best speaker I'll still vote for him. Instead of getting mesmerized by someone's great talking ability have the smarts to be able to understand the message. It's the message not the messenger stupid!

Boxing and God!

Something that is on my mind! At a press conference some days before his fight with Antonio Tarver last night, Roy Jones Jr quoted scripture by saying "If God is for you, cant nobody be against you". That was his grammer by the way. Actually he says this quite a bit leading one to believe that he does actually believe what he says. So my question is, since he got knocked out in the second round does this mean that God was against him? Likewise after the fight Tarver quoted the same scripture so does this mean God was for Tarver? I guess God had some money on the fight? Does any one other than me find this stuff trifling? We have a war going on in Iraq, we are fighting terrorists, and people are dying every day. Does God really care who wins a boxing match?! I know some people will say well that's just their way of acknowledging God but I myself find it self-agrandizing as it says that God likes one more than the other. Also it is trifling and maybe even a bit blasphemous. The same can be said for these people who survive some great tragedy which a bunch of other people just happened to lose their life, and they say "God must have been looking out for me?" Does this mean that God wasnt looking out for everyone else? Was this person really the only God believing person on the plane or whatever the tragedy may be? They say God works in mysterious ways but I think it is highly arrogant and trifling for someone to say this. It is as if they can't take the extra logical step and see what their statement really means. What about the families of the deceased? If I had a loved one die in a tragic accident I'd hate to see some low life on TV saying God must have been looking out for me. Everytime I hear someone say this I cringe. Like I said it may just be their way of acknowledging God in their lives when there seems to be no explanation but they should think about what they are saying and the implications before they blurt this stuff out. For my part, my explanation is just that in this world in which we live stuff happens and sometimes there is no explanation. None that makes a difference anyways.

Pumpkin from outside the storm door! Took a mini road trip today to Charlotte from Raleigh to pick up a cat for my wife while she is out of town. Used to be our cat a couple years ago but then we had to let it go when we moved where we couldnt have cats. Now the new owner cant have cats and we can so we got him back. He's a tabby and his name is Pumpkin. He was always my favorite cat. Scoll down to the buzznet photos to see the rest of the pictures I took today. Also will be in my snapfish photos. I will get a picture of Pumpkin as soon as I can

Jordan Lake on way to Charlotte from Raleigh

Here it is! Everyone has a story to tell. Some sad. Some happy. Some thrilling. Some boring. And some are better at telling their stories than others. I hope that you will enjoy hearing yet again another story. A story in the making. Because none of our stories are over until that day that we leave this world. And even then our stories may not be over but only just beginning. But that is a story that no one who has experienced it can tell. I think that is an important point for people to realize in their darkest moments that their story is not yet over and that just because things may seem dark at the moment the clouds always retreat before the onslaught of the sun. The dark days make way for the sunny days and vice versa and that is the story of our lives. No one's story is a perfect story. Every one has had troubles, disappointments and heartaches. To not have these experiences is to not be human. We are who we are precisely because of our experiences both good and bad. It is in this way that we can even learn to appreciate the dark days, knowing that as we prevail these moments are making us who we are. So let's begin, shall we?

I guess the most obvious point of entry into my story is to tell you when and where I was born and to whom. I was born on Sept 28, 1972 in Jacksonville, Florida. Everytime I say the word Jacksonville I hear Fred Durst in my mind saying "in the city of Jacksonveele!". I have been told that I was born at Jacksonville memorial hospital to my mother Sharon, 20 years old, and my father Curtis, 21 years old. Pretty typical ages in those days. I couldn't imagine myself having a child at that age today. I am 31 years old today with a two and a half year old son and I am learning how to be a better parent every day. It's funny when you are a child that you see your parents as grown adults but when we reach that age ourselves we feel very inadequate. You always imagine what you will be like when you reach a certain age but so far the image never quite accurately portrays reality. I wonder if my parents felt the same way.

My father was in the navy at the time stationed there in J-ville and extended his enlistment in order so that the navy would pay for the hospital expenses. At this time I should say that throughout this bio I am telling things as I remember them or how I remember them being told. If my family were to read this bio they may find things that are not quite accurate but it is my intention to be as truthful to my memories as possible. In the end our memories are the only thing that matters anyway. It's the memories, however innacurate, that stick in our heads and help to form who we are as a person today. It is also my intention to be as truthful to the actual events as possible as well no matter how painful some things may be to either myself or others. There may be things written here that I have never said out loud to any one before. This may turn out to be a good form of self therapy as I bring forth my inner most remembrances. Sometimes in greater moments of clarity I will have a flashback and I will realize ok so that's why I feel this way today. That's why I am who I am for better or worse. Isnt that how we all are?

A good example of what I mean is that I have today an intense fear of conflict. I can't stand arguing especially in the context of marital issues. Especially now that I have a son, I have an intense fear of divorce and me not being able to see my son everyday anymore. Of some other man raising my son. During the rare moments that my wife and I have intense arguments and everyone has them, I pretty much totally freak out inside and all kinds of old memories and feelings wash over me to the point of emotional fatigue. I once again hear my parents arguing and then I look at my son as young as he is and then the tears flow from my eyes and the argument is over. I cant stand the thought of my son going through some of the experences my sister and I went though. It brings tears to my eyes now thinking about it. I feel that since I wasnt able to keep my parents together that once I grew up I have unconsiously been trying my damnest to recreate the best memories I have through my relationships. That hasnt always worked as evidenced by the fact that this is my second marriage as well. But I at least take consolation in the fact that my first wife and I didnt have any children together so it was only my own pain that I had to worry about. Now that I'm in my second marriage with one son, I can't imagine ever getting divorced again. I love my wife and son to death and I see my wife and I growing old together, God willing, unless she was to leave me which of course is a fear of mine due to my obvious insecurities.

I dont want to give the impression that my childhood was a total hell. I have very fond memories of a lot of my childhood more good than bad in fact. If my parents were to read this I dont want them to feel bad about anything or responsible for my insecurities. I have made peace with my past and will make even more peace with this bio. I have no anger unless it is still deep deep down inside. I have sadness but no anger. Well maybe that's not entirely true but that's how I feel the majority of the time. I feel that I have the best parents in the world and no matter what mistakes they may have made they are my parents and I love them. I dont blame either one of them for anything that has happened. I think that is one thing that both my parents have not been able to understand. Sometimes even today they want to blame the other for what happened or they will say "oh you will have to ask your father/mother about that". They just cant seem to understand that I blame neither of them because I choose not to. Lord knows I could blame both of them for certain things but I choose to blame neither for my own well being. It is for own good that I do this. Plus I am 31 years old now and I understand more fully how people are only human and they make mistakes. Plus I know that not too many people can say their childhoods were idyllic. All in all I would say my childhood was better than most. I guess what I am trying to say that I just want to be honest here in this bio and talk about the good and the bad. I dont want to focus on either and I dont want to give the impression that I am focusing too much on only one aspect of my childhood. Enough of that. That's part one and I will continue this later. This bio may end up longer than I thought when all is said and done.

One more test!

One more test! The reasons we dont have peace in this world has nothing to do with us being too traditional but just the opposite. I think we need to get back to our roots. The liberals and the people succeeding in getting us away from God are, sad to say, being successful to the great peril of our souls! I guess you could I am my own worst enemy by still thinking at times that maybe these new agers might have some merit in what they say. But that thought only comes out of a depression that all is not right with the world. So sometimes I think well maybe these people have something with what they are saying. But after putting some thought into it, I think it is precisely because of our getting away from God that we are losing our soul and not finding our way in this world. We have to follow God or else we will be lost. We can't be arrogant and try to go off on our own way. God is right there holding out his hand saying follow me. The world is a wilderness and if we wish to find our way through it then we must follow the ultimate tour guide. If we get off on our own and try to find another way then we do so at our own peril.

This is a test post using Newz Crawler. I'm not sure why and I wish I hadnt. It is the most gruesome thing I have ever seen. I will not link to it in any way. I will not be responsible for anyone else's disillusionment with humanity. It underscored for me even more so why we are at war with these people-the terrorists. They lack humanity. They are lower than the animals. Despicable! Anyway I will not dwell on this any longer. I refuse to allow it to sap my emotional energy although it may be too late for now.

Here is something I would like everyone to read. Sometimes, a War Saves People Believe it or not this article was written by a Nobel Peace Prize winner. We are all so concerned about some prisoners at Abu Ghraib being humiliated and these animals show their true colors. These are not innocent people we are talking about. Remember there are European lawyers clamoring to be able to represent Sadam Hussein. These lawyers will sell their soul for a buck it seems. Seriously, when I saw this story break on TV I was made almost literally sick. Emotionally sick! These are animals we are dealing with who have no respect for human life whatsoever. While in the meantime we are in a protracted struggle with Sadam loyalists precisely because we are the nice guy. Don't you think if we wanted to we could just go in there and blow these places to bits? I sometimes wonder if that is what we should do. Stop playing Mr nice guy. Enough is enough. Why are we allowing our soldiers to die just so that we don't offend their religious symbols or so that we dont look indiscriminate? We need to get tough over there or we will be there for a very long time. War is hell and we need to show them what hell can be. Ok that's my diatribe for the day. If that story didnt put things in perspective maybe this will. I found it at Samizdata Why we fight. It is pretty graphic but I think it gets the point across.

God on liberals

I came across this verse posted on Dissecting the left

"And he shall set the sheep on his right hand but the goats on the left" (Matthew 10:33)..

Pretty humorous huh? I can't make this stuff up folks!

Another great quote that I love is:

"No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main. If a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if promontory were, as well as if a manor of thy friend's or of thine own were. Any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind; and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee."

John Donne, Meditation XVII

This is great for all those who want to know what business it is of ours to free another country from oppression. Maybe just because it is the right thing to do. How about that? I thought the democrats were always the ones ranting and raving about human rights!? But when it comes to doing something to back up the words they become anti war proponents. Which is another thing!! Here I go!! You got me on my soapbox again! Ha Ha. Is there anyone who might be reading this that thinks that we live in a perfect world? It is quite obvious that we don't. We live in a fallen world where Hitler's and Sadam Husseins, and Bin Laden's are possible and do exist. We can't fool ourselves about this. Evil does exist folks. We've seen it before and it is all around the world today. We can't stick our heads in the sand and play pretend that the world doesnt exist the way it does. I say all this to say that if we did live in a perfect world we would never have a reason for war.I personally abhor war! I think it is a stain on human existence! But sometimes it IS necessary to become what we abhor in order to assure a greater good. Would it be better that we as the most powerful country on earth just allowed aggression and tyrants to wreck havoc on innocent people? What kind of people would we be if we just decided to be isolationist, stick our heads in our own sand and forget about the rest of the world. Just pretend evil doesnt exist. That way we can sleep at night. That way we can live with ourselves. Look at like this. Say there is a kid in school who gets picked on all the time. He gets beat up and humiliated day in and day out. I'm sure he would love for someone to stick up for him and to help him out. But no one does. Because they all say that they hate fighting. Fighting is wrong and proves nothing. So we will just allow this guy his humiliation. Now imagine there is another kid in the school who is a black belt state champion in Karate. The best in the state and he continually saw this abuse and no one doing anything about it. What kind of person would you think he is if he did nothing? You could say well he should go tell the principal(United Nations) and let him do something about it. That is his job. Don't rush to unilateral action. That will only get you into trouble and anger the rest of the school. Ok so he goes to the principal and the principal says that he cant be everywhere at once and he has told these bullies to stop beating up this kid over and over again. The principle says ok I'll tell em again and then if they don't stop I'll suspend them. So he does but they continue and the principle says ok I'll write a letter which will go in their file instructing them to quit or there will be serious consequences. Meanwhile the poor kid is still getting beat up and tortured. They dont quit and finally the karate champion can take it no longer and he kicks the crap out of those kids so that they will no longer bully anyone again. Now would you consider our karate champion a no it all ignorant bully who took unilateral action upon himself or would you consider him to be compassionate for what he did? I take the latter view point. And that..that's all I have to say about that!! Ha Ha!! Today class I would like to discuss the following article found at MichNews, Are you liberal or conservative? by Ben Cerutti.

Now once again this is how it seems to me. Liberal basically always has and still does just mean someone who advocates doing things differently than they have been done in the past. They don't like the present system and want to change the system, instead of working within the system. Now this may not sound too bad but let's continue and we will put it into perspective of what a liberal is today. A Conservative then is someone who advocates the traditional way of doing things. They like the present system, even though it may be flawed, and they advocate working within that system. I contend that the terms liberal and conservative are relative terms in that they only have meaning relative to whatever system is under discussion. For example, when America fought the revolutionary war against England, in those days and in that frame of reference America was the liberals and England was Conservative. This makes sense. We didnt like being ruled by another country across the waters and wanted our own system of government. We were liberal in this sense. England wanted to stay the course. Whenever there is a revolutionary uprising in a country, for example in Russia in the beginning of the 20th century and Cuba several decades ago the revolutionaries were liberal. The capitalist were conservative. Now let's look at it in today's terms. Liberal do not like our system of government and a lot of them act like they don't like America. All over the news recently they are belittling our own country at the risk of our troops who are risking their lives at this very moment. Liberals are socialists and it is only a matter of degree. They don't like capitalism and free markets and advocate governmental controls. They don't believe in personal responsibility and advocate big brother taking care of the masses regardless of circumstances. They advocate government medicine. Now what struck me when I read this article is that in a nutshell conservatives believe in our system of governemt as framed by our forefathers. Everything that was said about conservatives could have been applied to our founding fathers. So whenever you hear a liberal speaking just remember if they had their way we would be a socialist country if not a communist country. As I said it is only a matter of degree.

For some excellent insight into all this I suggest Ayn Rand's book Atlas Shrugged
It is an excellent novel that explains very well the difference between capitalist and those who believe in government controls and what can happen if the latter are allowed to achieve their objectives. It also explains the latter's motives for wanting what they do. The belief in something for nothing. You know, may parents always taught me when I was growing up that no one in life owes me anything just for being born. That and money doesnt grow on trees. Which actually it does if you want to get technical. ha ha I guess the liberals believe that by virtue of just being born the world owes them something. Think about it doesnt even work this in nature. Nature is a harsh mother and her children are expected to earn their keep or else they dont live very long. There is no charity in nature.

Buzznet

I added my buzznet moblog photos to this page. I haven't updated any photos in a long time but now that I am happy with my page I will start to add more photos as time goes by. I have to go take a final exam for this past semester. I'm taking computer engineering courses through Grantham University by way of correspondence. It's a pretty good school and a good way to go back to school for those of us who work full time and have family obligations. Maybe one day I will have hundreds of adoring fans but until then it's back to the wonderful world of obscurity.

There are three articles I found that I would like to link to tonite and put my two cents in. The first is titled Swift Boat Veterans Condemn Kerry as Unfit to Command
by Dave Eberhart, NewsMax.com
obtained from NewsMax.com

and this one Former Military Colleagues: Kerry 'Unfit to Be Commander in Chief'
by Marc Morano, CNSNews.com
also obtained through NewsMax.com

The third is George W. Bush and Uncommon Valor
by Col. John H. Wambough USAF (Retired)
obtained from michnews.com

Now if you read these articles something should immediately strike you as odd. Does it seem like this is the first time you have heard of this? That's because it probably is as the liberal news media wouldn't dare tell the American public the truth because that would undermine their cause of getting the spineless John Kerry elected president. These two articles are straight from the horses mouth.Straight from the people who should know. One group of people who served with Kerry while he was in vietnam for 4 months and the other a retired colonel who served in the same type of units Bush served in. Kerry is always touting himself as a war hero but it seems a little ironic to me that the people who served with him don't see him that way. They see him as a waffler who puts his own selfish ambitions above those of even the ones he served with. Whereas the retired colonel has nothing but good things to say about Bush and gives a little background information so that the public can know the real truth. I like what Bush said on meet the press when he said that you can critizize him all you want but you better be careful about denigrating the reserves and the guard. It seems to me that the democrats are so quick to try to find some baseless dirt on Bush that they didnt even notice their foot in their mouth. You dont get elected president by denigrating the very people that you want to vote for you. Anyways, that's my opinion and I'm sticking to it.

Pacquiou robbed!

Well another fight goes into the history books as a theft. It was ruled a draw! Which is better I guess then a loss but I just dont understand how some of these judges get to keep their jobs. How can a judge give a fight to someone who gets knocked down 3 times in the first round? Used to be that after 3 knockouts it was ruled a TKO. One judge had it 113-113 because he scored the first round a 10-7 when it should have been a 10-6 round. That is the problem in boxing. The judging is too subjective. There are no standards and the judges can rule as they see fit. There needs to be some kind of standards in place just like in every other sport. Granted there is a subjective element to it but that first round should have been a mandatory 10-6 round in which case Pacquiou wins by 1 point. Anyways, enough of my rambling. Every time I see a fight go to the judges, even when I'm sure of who won, I always say that anything can happen in boxing. This is not the first rotten scoring and I'm sure it won't be the last. Good nite! I intend to make my blog a tounge in cheek convergence of all things related to conservative politics, religion, technology and computers, my favorite sport of boxing, and just about anything on my mind. I hope my blog appeals to all my fellow evil conservative republicans bent on global domination. Obviously I'm being tounge in cheek but I want to empasize that I am conservative economically and politically but liberal theologicaly. It comes as a shock to what most people are used to, to hear of a non religious republican. You don't have to be on the far right like Pat Robertson to be republican. George Bush isn't even conservative enough for Pat Robertson. Like I said I may seem to be a walking contradiction but maybe through this exercise of internet democracy I may find that there are more people out there like myself than I thought. And maybe I can show other people that ideology in whatever form does not have to be black and white. There are many grey areas throughout our existence on this small rock whirling around the sun. Every one it seems wants everyone to think in terms of black and white. You are either conservative or liberal, republican or democrat, god fearing patriot or communist atheist. The list could go on and on. But I don't believe the world works in such polarities. Even physics has its quantum mechanics and the uncertainty principle. One can be both a secularist and a republican. After all wasn't this country founded on the principle of separation of church and state? One can be conservative on some issues and liberal on others. One can be fully supportive of George Bush but not agree with him on every issue.I guess you could say I'm a John McCain type republican or a Ted Nugent type of republican. There are all kinds of people in this country and we don't all fit onto this little 3 point line designating left, moderate or right. Anywho!! Boxing is coming on tonite. As I said this is my favorite sport. I love it. Manny Pacquiou is fighting Juan Manuel Marquez. Sure to be a great fight hopefully. So I will continue my diatribe later.
